Day in, day out, we, Budhist or any noble human being with a heart of compassion, we do fulfill our noble responsibility in terms of our contributions towards society in many means either by donating monetarily or even in the forms of other means like food, clothings, toys, electrical items where we no longer need and by many means too.
However, most of the time, we tend to donate to ONLY known organisations like the RED CROSS SOCIETY, the World Wildlife Federation (WWF) and many many more. For examples, when we buddhist visit any temples we would make a litle donations towards a temple BUT many a times, we ONLY visit temples that CAPTIVATE us. With no offense, we would normally visit temples which are famous like Wat Rakhang, Wat In, Wat Arun, Wat Pikulthong, Wat Chang Hai, Wat Suthat and many many more, you can name it! hahaha........
But we do we really see the situation? Goosh! These temples are filthy RICH men!
Hence, if we really want to do our part in contribution to society and Buddhism, there are many many temples out there that has rains pouring in during raining and sands blowing in during windy times.....sigh....
Everyday, we have a chance to donate either food, oil, clothes, money and many more to a temple BUT participating in building a Dharma Hall is one of the GREATEST Merit that one can garner!
Imagine the mission of Lord Buddha in spreading the teaching of Buddhism to mankind, and we are actually participating and ensures the mission of Lord Buddha is materialised. Hence, it is a blessing to participate in the fund-rasing activity either by renting amulets from this website or even contribute directly to the temple itself.

WHY NEED TO BUILD A DHARMA HALL?
Wat NongLau is situated on the Northern of Thailand in a poverty stricken area and district where the main economy is solely depends on farming and petty trading, hence life is difficult and basic neccesities are scares.
Moreover, in Thailand most poor children with get their most basic education from the temples. The need to help and raise fund in building this dharma hall is of great importance in granting those poor childrens the rights to basic educations and learning of Buddhism.
On the followings are some of the pictures that we took during our visit there in Wat NongLau, it is deeply sadden us that it doesn't have the necessary infrastructure for those poor childrens and they were studying in an open areas with plastic sheets, no tables nor chairs, no lights and no shelter from heats and rains....sigh.
